We made these birds nest cookies for our Easter Dinner dessert but they are cute for spring and delicious for anytime of the year! Also super easy and a great project to get the kids in the kitchen to help out! They literally take 10 – 15 minutes preparation and 30 minutes to set.

- 1 – 300g bag milk chocolate chips
- 1 – 300g bag peanut butter chips
- 1 – large bag wavy potato chips
- Mini eggs (optional)
You can also substitute the peanut butter chips for another bag of chocolate chips (as we did this time).
Preparation Time: 7 minutes
Total Time: 37 minutes
Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter chips in the microwave. Careful! They burn quickly so I put them in several times for 30 – 45 seconds and stir in between. Then crunch up the bag of potato chips and pour them in the bowl. It’s fun to crunch them with your hands as you add them to the bowl. Then stir it up.
Almost done! Last step, drop them onto a cookie sheet lined with wax paper or parchment paper. Add mini eggs to make them look like a birds nest although, they are tasty without the mini eggs if you don’t have any on hand! Put them in the fridge for about 30-60 minutes to cool. That’s it! A very quick and easy dessert cookie!
